New York Institute of Technology - Content Design for Social Media
Created digital content for social media platforms such as banners, profile images, and event poststo effectively communicate updates, promote campus activities, and enhance the institution’s online presence.
About
New York Institute of Technology transitioned its campus-wide digital ecosystem from Google-based tools such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Meet, and Google Drive to Microsoft applications including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and the Microsoft 365 suite. The objective of this project was to clearly communicate this transition to students through engaging and easy-to-understand social media content.

30 + Layouts Designed
Social Media 1080 x 1080
I designed a series of informative and visually consistent social media posts to educate students on the migration process, highlight key differences between Google and Microsoft tools, and guide them on how to transfer files, adapt to new workflows, and access support resources. The designs focused on clarity, approachability, and visual storytelling to reduce confusion and ensure a smooth adoption of the new Microsoft ecosystem across the campus community.
School of Arch. & Design (SoAD)
I focused on elevating the school’s social media presence through cohesive branding and visually distinct assets.
Cover Photo & Banner Design:
Created multiple iterations of Facebook banners that reflected the spirit of architecture and design. Clean lines, 3D forms, modular structures, and bold typography. These headers helped build a unified digital identity for the department.

Infographics and Information Design
As a designer, I specialize in turning complex information into engaging visual stories. At NYIT, I created infographics and instructional visuals covering topics like Microsoft 365 tools, Canvas tutorials, Outlook productivity, and digital safety. Each piece was crafted to be not only visually appealing but also easy to understand ensuring accessibility for a diverse campus audience.

Conclusion!
This project strengthened my ability to adapt design styles for different platforms and audiences. It gave me hands-on experience in creating content that is visually compelling, informative, and socially relevant. I learned to balance aesthetics with clarity, and how to maintain visual consistency across formats, from Instagram posts to Facebook banners and infographics. Overall, it reinforced my belief that design is a powerful tool for both communication and advocacy.
