Why Garamond Pro?
Timeless elegance and refined readability and qualities that align seamlessly with the brand's luxurious and sophisticated tone. Garamond’s classic serifs, graceful curves, and balanced proportions evoke a sense of tradition and high fashion, making it an ideal typeface for a publication like VOGUE. Its versatility allowed me to maintain a strong typographic hierarchy across headlines, subheads, and body text while preserving a cohesive and editorially rich aesthetic.

WHY?
Redesigned VOGUE magazine to deepen my understanding of editorial design, with a focus on typography, layout systems, and print production. This project allowed me to analyze the structure of a globally recognized fashion publication and reinterpret its visual language through my own lens. The goal was to experiment with type hierarchy, whitespace, and grid alignment while maintaining the elegance and sophistication that define the VOGUE brand.
IMPACT
Through this redesign, I gained valuable insights into the relationship between typography and storytelling in editorial formats. The project sharpened my ability to create layouts that are both functional and visually compelling, reinforcing the importance of consistency, pacing, and brand voice in print design.
It also taught me how to adapt classical typefaces like Garamond for modern, luxury editorial experiences.
